thank you

Last week blew me out of the water.

Julia, Elizabeth, Vanessa and Grace Anne wrote some amazing words.

KaraJoannyMikayla, and Jessica joined in on Suicide Prevention Week, publishing thoughts on their blogs.

And it was wonderful.

It was wonderful seeing something so taboo and tricky, yet so relevant and personal, sprinkled across the blogisphere.

So I just want to take a moment to say thank you-
thank you for standing up.
thank you for getting involved.
thank you for being supportive.
thank you for the posts, comments, and prayers.

Thank you.

A few things about my Mom

My very first clear memory of my mom, is 'praying the prayer' in Christian lingo. I was three years old, sitting on my dad's lap in our living room while my mom and sister were sitting together in a chair.

My mom isn't a supper outgoing person, but she has the gift of leadership.
Her silky, dark brown hair rests underneath my chin every morning as she squeezes love into me.
She isn't atrociously smart, but she sits with her kids every morning to give them the best education possible.
She makes everyone feel welcome when they enter our home, and is generous with her kind words.

These pictures show her beautiful heart as she receives a home-made gift from one of her kiddos.

               Happy Mothers Day Mama!

Thank you so much for visiting Letters to Jayna. Please take a moment to follow me on Bloglovin and Google+. Also, don't forget to leave a comment and let me know you were here!
